Pre-ordered Battlefield 2042 & New Gaming Headset

Today, after not being so sure whether to get Battlefield 2042, I decided that there is no way I am skipping yet another Battlefield and I’ve decided to pre-order the Gold Edition and join the battle today at midnight. Gonna play on the PlayStation 5.

Why I Bought Battlefield 2042?

I have my reasons though. First one, I like the idea of Battlepass (many don’t, I know), but this means that we won’t be paying for DLCs and it will be a game that will stay with us for a long time.

Considering that this will be my main FPS game to play in 2021/2022, I think it’s a well worth investment. It’s not like a game that I pay $70 and finish in a day or two so I get great value out of it.

Second, I really like Portal and it brings really cool maps from other games. Some of my favorite maps there, and see myself playing them a lot.

Third, there aren’t any other big games coming in 2021 that I am over-the-top excited about playing. Most of the games that I want to play coming in the first quarter of 2022, mostly in February. Until then, I’ll have plenty of time to burn, and I want a bit of action—Battlefield 2042 can deliver that.

My Gaming Headset Died, Bout a New One

As I was making a new YouTube video, my headset start acting weird, the mic sound low, the overall sound from the earcups was low and I realized that it’s dying.

So today, as I needed a new headset for today’s Battlefield 2042 stream, I went to buy a new headset. I bought the Steelseries Arctis 5 gaming headset.

It’s better than what I have, the mic sound and audio are better but it was much more expensive. I chose it because I want a USB one, so I won’t need to deal with charging battery and stuff.

I am ready to stream Battlefield 2042 today and hopefully, I’ll get used to playing with a controller again. when I play, I feel like this is the first time and for an FPS game, you need good aim. Practice makes perfect, will play a lot and I’m sure I’ll get used to the controller again as it was in my PS4 days.

I’ll be happy if you join me on my stream. Will be streaming at 22:00 GMT time. See ya there!
