After 187 hours playing Baldur’s Gate 3, I am ready to share my video review. It has been a fantastic journey, and my time with BG3 is far from ending. As Starfield coming in closer to a week, I am happy that I had time to play Baldur’s Gate 3.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is not without its issues, but many of them can be addressed with future quality-of-life improvement and do not, not for me at least, took from the overall gameplay experience.
As a newcomer to D&D, I even took my time to learn the D&D 5e basics to be ready to play the game. That being said, the best school was actually playing it.

I found out a game that connected me nostalgically to the golden era of videogames from the 80s-90s, in a modern form that was able to being the fun back to turn-based games for me.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a game that I also needed to come with a relaxing state of mind and patience to enjoy it fully. I made time for it, because I knew, that otherwise, I wouldn’t enjoy it as much and maybe be frustrated playing it.

I was more into action RPG games and not turn-based, and I was wondering whether I’ll decided to refund it or enjoy it. I played on GOG, so I had month for evaluation. Not just that I didn’t refund it, I discovered a game like no other, a game that made me go on an incredible journey and not be shy on throwing superlatives onto it, as it definitely deserved it.

Baldur’s Gate 3 does so many things close to perfection, including the music, the voice acting, animation, game choices and progression, sound and visual effects, world design, replay value, exploration and so much more. Dropping the bull*** behind it, with no microtransaction, game as a service, battle pass and just bring a full complete game for gamers to enjoy.

This is a Masterpiece that will be acknowledged and remembered for many years to come. An important milestone to videogames in general and at least in my opinion, one of the best videogames ever made.
Don’t sleep on it, get it!
