I love sandbox games in VR, especially combat related. Thing is that this is where you can really go crazy, both as a developer and as a gamer.
DownShotVR is exactly this type of game for Meta Quest 2 and Quest Pro. It features a wide variety of guns, swords, knives and other crazy things that you can do that plays with reality or breaks it all together.
For example, on of the features allows you to change your avatar size, so weapons now are smaller or bigger relative to you and that leads to some funny situations, especially when trying to shoot a rifle or lift now a much tinier and less threatening. enemy.
I found this game via SideQuest and just couldn’t stop playing it. It’s not perfect and it still feels clunky, but hell it’s worth trying out.
Here is me playing DownShotVR VR physics combat sandbox game for Quest 2 where you can shoot, rip limbs and toy around with reality with your favorite weapons!
