In this post, we’ll take a look at Predecessor’s map buffs and learn more about their stats, what each buff does, and their spawn time. If you are a beginner to Predecessor (some referred to it as Paragon 2), this tutorial will help you out.
I created a video that explains all the information you need about the buff on the map for the MOBA game Predecessor. Keep in mind that this info is from the early access of Predecessor and things are subject to change in future patches, so follow Predecessor’s official patch notes.
Predecessor Buff Stats
What each buff on the map does
Red buff: Dot damage and slow on basic attacks (including cleave)
Blue buff: Mana regen, ability haste, and extra ability damage to minions/monsters
Gold buff: Gold
Cyan buff: XP, a little bit of gold, mana, and health
Fangtooth (buffs accumulate) :
Stack 1: Increased buff duration (e.g. river)
Stack 2: Out-of-combat movement speed
Stack 3: 6% increased stats
Stack 4: 12% increased stats
Stack 5: 18% increased stats
Stack 6: 24% increased stats [ETC]
Mini prime (pre-20-minutes, single-player-buff): Increase damage of you + allied minions around you (good for pushing lanes)
Orb Prime (team buff): Increase damage + out-of-combat healing + mana
Note: Both prime buffs can be stacked if timed correctly. Only mini-prime and orb prime, if you eliminate mini-prime for example at the 19:59 minute mark and orb prime spawns right after and you eliminate it. So both buffs will run concurrently and stack.
River buffs:
Note: All give mana regen
Pink – Ability damage
Green – Shield
Orange – Attack speed
Grey – Movement speed
I hope this information was helpful to understand the different buffs in the MOBA game Predecessor, their buff stats/values and what each one does, when they spawn if they stack and what you should be focusing on if you play off lane (solo lane), mid-lane or duo lane — Good Luck!
