Elden Ring Sucks, Bad, Don’t Buy, Buggy, Worst Game Ever

If you reached here searching to hear a bad thing about Elden Ring, well, that’s confirmation bias. If you search to read bad things, you’ll find them obviously, but not here.

There are plenty of reviews out there praising Elden Ring. Of course, there are players who don’t like the game design and features and think it sucks, leaving aside the bad performance issues.

I’ve played Elden Ring for more than 400 hours. I already shared my review and why I consider Elden Ring the best video game ever made.

You can see it here.

Elden Ring answers many of my wishes for an Action RPG game:

  • Beautiful world
  • Original art direction
  • Rewarding exploration
  • Stunningly-designed bosses
  • Amazing and memorable boss fights
  • Large selection of items to match your favorite playstyle
  • Great sense of mystery and urge to unlock the world’s secrets
  • Great addicting combat
  • and more..

That being said, Elden Ring does have its issues that many players seem to agree on, especially ones related to PC performance (that’s a fact actually), lacking the ability to track quests (diary), mediocre multiplayer experience, some problematic unbalanced boss designs, being confused which path to take, some annoying platforming.

Although the game received several patches and some of the issues still remain, it doesn’t make Elden Ring a bad game, it doesn’t suck, bugs have been crunched (not that there were many in the first place), and it doesn’t make it “The worst game ever” as some few players seem to think.

In large, Elden Ring offers more than so many half-baked mediocre open-world/action RPG games that were released in recent years.

It’s the most impressive large-scale open-world game ever made. The sales numbers speak for themselves. The same goes to Steam reviews (user reviews) and media reviews

Unless you believe some conspiracy theories, Elden Ring is beloved by millions of players and praised like crazy by the media, and is one of the highest-rated games EVER on Metacritic and OpenCritic.

Even if you didn’t like the game and enjoy super analyzing every tiny bit of it, find and highlight its issues—as a whole–Elden Ring already achieved greatness. Of course, there will be players who will like it, others not–like any other game out there.

There are so many mediocre games that are being released and then come this game and show how a great action RPG should be made. Calling Elden Ring “sucks”, “worst game ever”, “bad game”—it’s just total nonsense. Many developers wish they could get such great praises from both the media and players.

Every negative opinion about the game is from individual players, subjective to their experience, whether some will agree with them or not. And that won’t take from the overall success and agreement of the majority of players who played the game and just loved it.

Also keep in mind that many of the negative reviews on Steam are because of PC performance issues, which are legit of course, and developers working to improve the performance.

Thing is that those who share their frustration and negative opinion about the game usually are much louder than those sharing the positive ones. They just feel the need to shout out loud and, sorry to say that, shit about the game. I think many have done that due to frustration due to performance.

So no, Elden Ring doesn’t suck, it’s not bad, it’s definitely worth buying, I had literally zero bugs through my playthrough and it’s one of THE BEST GAMES EVER MADE. Judging by numbers and total positive reviews, that’s actually, A FACT!
