Today got a Vine Whip 263 Unique/Gilded from the Minecraft Dungeons Tower. Finally, a drop that I think I’ll use in a build.
It has the following enchantments that I like:
- Guarding Strike
- Swirling (Gilded/Level 3)
- Exploding/Refreshment
I think I’ll start with Swirling, Guarding Strike and Exploding as it’s great against single-target enemies and groups of enemies. Things can easily get out of control when doing Daily Trials III and with lots of raid captains.
I did a test today, using the Vine Whip melee weapon in Daily Trials 3 without any leeching/radiance/life leech healing, just my main potion and it works so well.
This shows me that this Vine Whip has great potential but I need a proper build for it. I am still farming for a 263 Gilded Wither Armor, which alongside snowball can go well for a build while keeping distance from enemies (shift+attack).
When your weapon lacks healing, in this case (leeching; radiance isn’t good here), you need to support the build with a healing option of some sort. I can alternatively go with Refreshment, which allows me to use my healing much more often and I might be able to do well without life leech.
Usually, a good mystery armor can be great if you get complimentary enchantments, but it’s very hard to come by one that fits perfectly for your weapon.
Using 263 Metal Armor worked great without healing, as it’s very durable and I was able to hold on well. But things will get much tougher with more raid captains, so definitely I need some sort of healing.
