FIX: NVIDIA RTX Voice No Sound with Shadowplay Screen Recording

A few days ago I had a problem where I wanted to record gameplay using NVIDIA Shadowplay screen recording functionality on my Windows 10 PC using RTX Voice. The problem, I couldn’t hear my voice after recording. In this post, I’ll show you how to fix this issue.

The solution for not hearing your voice audio when recording the screen using Shadowplay and NVIDIA RTX Voice is that once you switch the source, the volume is reset to 0.

After changing to NVIDIA RTX Voice, Volume is set to zero (0)

This is the reason why you can’t hear yourself when recording videos using RTX Voice as the source for the microphone.

There is nothing wrong with your mic, it’s just, for some weird reason, Shadowplay put the volume at 0, rather than maintaining the same volume as you set up before.

FIX: increase the volume above 0 to be able to hear your voice when recording videos using Shadowplay and NVIDIA RTX Voice.

It’s probably a bug that should be fixed but that’s the solution that worked for me.

I hope you found this useful. Enjoy.
