Playing LoL Wild Rift on an iPad instead of my Android Phone

I was playing Wild Rift on my OnePlus 6 phone since I got the game. However, playing it on such a small screen (6.2″) wasn’t a great experience, to be honest.

I didn’t want to buy a tablet just for this game, but that thought hasn’t left my head. However, Today I realized that I actually have an “old” iPad 2018 tablet that I haven’t used for a long time. It was in my suitecase.

iPad with League of Legends: Wild Rift
Already installed Wild Rift on my iPad 2018.

I took it out and I told myself that today I’ll try and play League of Legends: Wild Rift on it and see how it is.

I shared this on reddit and one redditer told me that the field of view will be horrible. I think he meant that if the game isn’t optimized for tablets, I would get a field of view in the game that would give me a bad experience and even may lead to that I won’t be able to see a large view compared to what I see on the phone. This can even lead me to lose fights as others can see me and I can’t see them.

Nonetheless, it’s worth a try as I just not enjoying playing the game on my Android phone because everything is just so small.

My iPad 2018 has 9.7″. I’ll update you on how it goes. I first update to iOS 14 and then I’ll give it a try, wish me luck.
