In this video, I’ll show you how you can change the Oculus Quest 2 controller batteries in a few easy steps.
The Oculus Quest 2 controllers run on AA batteries. A single battery in each controller.
To change the battery you need to first slide the cover of the controller. This is the side on the opposite side of where the grip button is located. Slide it down gently.
You then see the battery. Insert an AA (charged or new) battery in to the battery compartment while the Minus side is facing upwards towards the upper part of the controller and then slide the Plus side down.
Push the battery forward a bit in the socket so you can easily push the plus side into place.
Now put the cover back and you are done.
