Cyberpunk 2077 GeFroce Supports Cyberpunk 2077 Steam and GOG at Launch

It was a very confusing day for me. I’ve decided to cancel my preorder of the Cyberpunk 2077 game on Steam and get it on GOG Galaxy 2.0 because I thought that GeForce Now won’t support Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam day 1—I was wrong.

I mean, I’ve read on Tom’s Hardware that it won’t be supported, but then one of my YouTube viewers mentioned that GeForce Now will allow linking Cyberpunk 2077 via Steam and stream the game. He also linked to an article on PC Gamer website whee it’s mentioned black on white that Steam linking will be supported from day 1, not just GOG.

For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about. GeforceNow is a game streaming service, which enables players to play the game from the cloud without actually downloading it. It runs at full graphics settings with RTX even if you don’t have an RTX-enabled graphics card or a powerful PC to support the minimum requirements of Cyberpunk 2077. You can even play it on a mobile device, and other platforms. Basically, you just good internet connectivity and a good pint with some other relatively low-end system requirements and you are good to go (more on that on GeForce Now website).

I actually canceled my preorder and refunded Cyberpunk 2077 because I was sure that Steam won’t be supported on day one. It wasn’t clear at all from the official website, not I easily found it by googling it.

Anyways, now you know that Geforce Now will support both Steam and GOG.com. Just so you know, you need to buy the game on any of these game client apps and you need the non-free subscription membership of GeForce Now in order to stream Cyberpunk 2077 game to your favorite supported device. This way, you can play CP2077 at the highest graphics settings with RTX On.
