Today I searched for a bit more information about enabling Dolby Atmos on my Lenovo Legion Windows 10 gaming laptop computer to enjoy a better audio experience playing Cyberpunk 2077.
I found out that Dolby Access software is actually pre-installed on my computer. All I needed to do is to launch the app and enable it for my headphones. You can enable it for built-in speakers, headphones or for Home Theatre.
There is no need for special hardware or special sound card to enjoy Dolby Atmos. You also don’t need “surround headphones” like those with the 7.1 surround feature to enjoy it. Just stereo headphones will suffice (source: medium.com)
I’ve also read about Cyberpunk 2077 supporting Dolby Atmos on Dolby.com, the official Dolby website (source: 1, 2). This means that once you enable it, you’ll experience a much more immersive audio experience when playing CP2077.
How to get Dolby Access for Windows?
If you play on the Xbox Series X/S or Xbox One–these consoles already come with Dolby Atmos installed. If you play on PC/Windows, you need to get the Dolby Access app for Windows 10.
First, search your computer and see whether you have it installed. If you do, run it and configure it. If not, head one to Microsoft Store and download it for free.

Keep in mind that there are many games that support Dolby Atmos, including Call of Duty: Warzone, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and many others.
You can even use Dolby Access to test out the experience using different videos in the home category. Watch some movie trailers and other demo videos.
I am not an audio expert, but it was nice knowing that I can enjoy a better audio experience playing Cyberpunk 2077 by just enabling this software on my gaming laptop computer with a few clicks.
