Hi-Fi Rush came as a big surprise, dropping to us a few hours after Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct 2023. It landed also in Xbox Game Pass as Bethesda is owned by Microsoft now.
In Hi-Fi Rush, you play as Chai, a rockstar wannabe. You’ll be venturing threw beautiful anime-style levels, fighting enemies to the beat. Yes, it’s a music rhythm combat game where even the game’s UI and level elements are dancing to the beat.
You need to use it to your advantage by hitting your attacks based on the rhythm, making combo attacks, dashing and parrying attacks—all to the beat to max their effectiveness and timing.
I already played close to 11 hours and finish the game. It takes around 8-11 hours to complete Hi-Fi Rush but more if you are a completionist and searching for all the collectibles. Not just that, there is a lot of end-game content for those who want to test their skills and even a more difficult level that unlocks upon finishing the game.
