It’s frustrating when you’re trying to play a game on your Oculus Quest 2 and your controllers stop working. You might think you need to buy a new headset or controller, but there are some things you can try first to fix the issue.
The first thing you should do is check to make sure the batteries in your controllers are charged. If they’re not, charge them for a few hours and then try again.
If your controllers are still not working, try restarting your Oculus Quest 2. To do this, hold down the power button for 10 seconds until the headset powers off. Once it’s off, wait a minute and then power it back on.
If restarting your Oculus Quest 2 doesn’t work, the next thing to try is resetting your controllers. To do this, go to the settings menu in your Oculus Quest 2 and select “Controllers.” Then, select “Reset All Controllers.”
If you’re still having trouble with your controllers, the next step is to check for updates. To do this, go to the settings menu in your Oculus Quest 2 and select “System.” Then, select “Check for Updates.”
If there are any updates available, install them and then try using your controllers again.
If none of these steps work, the next thing you can try is factory resetting your Oculus Quest 2. This will delete all your data, so make sure to back up anything important before you do this. To factory reset your Oculus Quest 2, go to the settings menu and select “System.” Then, select “Factory Reset.”
If you’ve tried all of these steps and your controllers still aren’t working, the next thing to do is contact Oculus support. They may be able to help you troubleshoot the issue further or replace your controllers if necessary.
